About me

I have over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry – all with State Farm. After spending many years teaching agents and their team members about products and services offered by State Farm, I had the great opportunity to become a State Farm agent. I opened my first agency in San Antonio, TX in 2007 and in 2012 I moved to the office in Hallettsville, TX. As I grew up and attended school in nearby Yoakum, this was a move back “home” for me! Here, I am able to offer products from one of the largest, most well recognized insurance companies while getting to enjoy all the benefits of living and working in ‘small town’ Texas. My office in Hallettsville provides for the insurance and financial services needs of customers in Lavaca, DeWitt, Fayette, Colorado, Gonzales and Victoria counties, and we have a strong presence in the Hallettsville, Shiner, Moulton, Yoakum, Sheridan and Schulenburg communities. I am fortunate to have wonderful team members who make it their mission to build strong relationships and provide remarkable customer service. They are longtime residents of Hallettsville and so are uniquely qualified to help with auto insurance, home insurance, farm & ranch insurance and life insurance whether you are relocating to the area or are simply looking for a quality alternative to your current insurance plan.

Melinda has over twelve years experience in the insurance industry – all with State Farm and all in our local office – and is licensed to offer a full range of property & casualty and life & health insurance products. Born and raised in Hallettsville, Melinda loves taking care of the people in the communities we serve and never meets a stranger! She is active in all things that come with having a 5-year old daughter and a 2-year old son and enjoys spending her free time in the kitchen baking magnificent cakes and outside relaxing at her family’s ranch. Melinda is excellent at building and maintaining relationships and is uniquely positioned to understand the insurance needs of a growing family. She is vital to our office operations and invaluable to our customers.

Sharee joined our team in 2017 and is licensed to provide auto and home insurance products. Prior to moving into the insurance industry, she spent over six years working on local business development and resident programs. Sharee manages the daily activities of our front office and provides the primary support for customer claims. She and her husband are lifelong residents of Hallettsville and have 3 grown sons. Her stepson and his wife have blessed her with 2 lively grandchildren who she loves spending time with. Sharee enjoys reading, crocheting and spending family time in her travel trailer. Sharee brings high energy and enthusiasm into our daily routine and says our customers are the greatest part of her job!
